Rock the Hill 2026

Announcing Rock the Hill 2026!

Pull up a rocking chair — and let’s make some noise for Tennessee’s youngest learners!

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, families, educators, and early childhood advocates from across the state will gather in Nashville for Rock the Hill at the Tennessee State Capitol.

The Event

This isn’t just another day on the Hill — it’s a movement centered on Tennessee’s young children and their families.

  • The Rally: All advocates will kick off the day with a RALLY outside the capitol (10:30am-11:30am)
  • Families Forward: Selected children and their families will participate in a special experience where they will meet with state lawmakers – delivering messages in a bottle and in lunchboxes – participate in child-oriented activities, enjoy a meal, and receive goodies. (11:30am-1:30pm)
  • Lawmakers will step into a mock learning center at the capitol to talk with parents and better understand what quality early learning looks like in action, and why it matters. (11:30-1:30pm)

More details to come!
